Dementia Care
What is Dementia Care?
People living with dementia find it difficult to make sense of their physical surroundings. Individuals suffering with dementia are likely to experience problems with perception and memory loss. Our objective is to make The Village Care Home a 'friendly' environment to those of our residents with dementia whilst retaining a familial, homely setting.

At The Village Care Home, our staff are trained to understand many different types of dementia and understand the symptoms of each individual. Personalised care is central to our mission.
Who is Dementia care for?
When an individual with dementia can no longer live independently at home even with the help of informal or formal care, the time has come to consider residential dementia care. At The Village Care Home, our highly trained team are here to support and maintain the psychological, sociological and physical well being of those living with dementia.

At The Village Care Home, our specialised dementia team and resources support individuals who are living with dementia, including a Dementia Care specialist team. We also work with a Quality Improvement team, who are constantly improving techniques and assessing our quality of care.
